Laura is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years experience in industry and practice.
Laura started working in the accountancy profession in the year 2000.
She proudly gained her qualification as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) in 2007.
She has worked with business owners and entrepreneurs of all sizes from supporting small sole traders with their accounts and tax returns to working with larger public companies assisting with their financial reporting.
Laura’s passion is small businesses and helping entrepreneurs navigate their way through the complexities of finanical reporting by providing accountancy services and advice throughout their business journey, not just the traditional annual year end catch up!
Laura provides a personal service and clients can expect expert advice at an affordable price.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her young family, going to music gigs and going on long walks with her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (the real Accounting King!).
Robert has officially joined as practice manager to make the business a true husband and wife team!
He studied maths and geography at Newcastle University and has always maintained a keen interest in numbers and statistics.
He has worked as a design engineer in various sectors of mechanical engineering for over 15 years, but after finishing his more recent role decided that the time was right for a fresh challenge.
Robert’s focus is on raising the business profile, particularly using social media platforms that can help put Laura Whittle Chartered Accountant in front of a larger and more diverse audience. He also looks at marketing, developing the website and attending networking events.
Robert is also strengthening the services offered by starting the process of undertaking his ATT (Association of Tax Technicians) training.
In his spare time, he enjoys family time with his girls, walking Charlie the Cavalier in the countryside of County Durham, watching and following Newcastle United FC as well as trips to the theatre and music gigs when time allows!
